EVERY FILTER PUT TO THE TEST
Each Absolute filter is rigorously tested before it is allowed to leave the factory. Without exception. To make sure there is no leakage, we scan the filter. We also put the filter through smoke and pressure drop tests. We blow particles at the filter, and if too many get through, we take it off the conveyor belt. All tests of course meet the required stringent standards. Once the filter passes inspection, a sticker is applied stating its serial number and pressure drop at test flow, and confirming that it has been tested and approved in accordance with global HEPA filter test standards.
FRAME SIZE IS CRUCIAL
Fitting the filter media into the frame is a process requiring millimetre precision. If the filter is the wrong size, particles can slip through. Of course, it is just as important that the frame is the right size. To make sure both are perfect, we specify the frame size in our mounting frame, which makes it impossible to produce filters of the wrong dimensions.
CAREFULLY SELECTED RAW MATERIALS
It doesn’t matter how much work we do on the development of the quality if the raw material, or the filter media as we call it, isn’t the absolute best. That’s why all our filter media is developed and tested in according to our precise specifications. We even do random sampling, and if any problems are detected, we scrap the entire batch.

PLEATING MUST BE PRECISELY ACCURATE
The first step in the manufacturing process is to pleat the filter media. This must be done very precisely, because the pleats are crucial to ensuring optimal airflow with the lowest possible pressure drop. To achieve ultimate precision, we’ve developed and built our own pleating machines, which use our patented CMS (Control Media Spacing) technology. This ensures a uniform airflow through the entire surface of the filter.
Absolute filter frames can be made of wood, plastic or metal. Gluing the filter to the frame is a sensitive process. To make sure that no particles can slip through, it is essential to have the exact right amount of glue on the frame.
